Lorne SLSC is a complex project due to its location, length of the material & type of material. Due to its proximity to the ocean as it was literally on the surf beach. It was an old metal roof that was completely rusted out and also affecting the structural steel of the project.
The LSLSC wanted their structure brought back to its former glory and this is what we’re known for.
KC Roof Plumbing took on the task of being the head contractor and coordinating everything from the structural steel, carpentry, complete wrap of scaffold, tedious crane lift due to soft aluminium material, traffic management, street & road closures.
This is what set us apart from our contenders when bidding for this project.
The scope entailed 24m of sprung curved powder coated aluminium custom orb sheeting transported down the Great Ocean road and into the main street of Lorne for the re-roof crane lift. Custom segmented folded eaves gutter & skylights suited the wild weather as well.
The project went off without a hitch and was completed ahead of time on budget with a high quality outcome. This is something we strive for on each and every project no matter the size, so please call us to have your re-roof project priced up and transformed back to its former glory.
